If you’re looking to add a little spice to your life, a new Orange Park restaurant may be just the answer.

Las Congas Café, which is planning its grand opening Saturday, will bring a taste of Cuban cuisine and culture to Clay County. Located at 799-1 Blanding Blvd., the restaurant is owned and operated by Marlon Martinez.

He came to Florida from Cuba as youth, starting out in the Miami area and finally moving to Clay County within the past several years. Recently, he decided it was time to bring a taste of Cuba to their new hometown.

Las Congas Café will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving up a variety of Cuban specialties. Look for Cuban sandwiches, black bean soup, fried plantains and a number of pork, beef and fish entrées on the extensive menu. Beer, wine and Sangria will be available.

Live Music will be provided every Friday and Saturday nights. Karaoke will be offered as well  at the 1,600 square-foot café, which seats 65.
